Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy, which is in place to ensure our driving instructors are able to effectively plan their schedule and minimize the loss of earnings caused by late cancellations, is as follows:

Lesson Cancellation

If a student needs to reschedule or cancel a lesson, a notice period of 24 hours must be observed. In the event that this criteria is not met, the lesson will be charged in full. Following this, the timeslot will be offered to a student enrolled in our charitable course.

Late Arrivals

Lessons will start at the agreed time. If an instructor is running late they will inform you at their earliest opportunity. If you are not present at the agreed time and place after 5 minutes, your instructor will send you a text message reminder.

If you are still not present after 10 minutes, your instructor will try to call you.

After 15 minutes without contact, the lesson will be treated as a cancellation.

Instructor Cancellations

At times our instructors may occasionally need to cancel a lesson. Regardless of the notice given you will not be charged for your lesson. We will endeavour to reschedule the cancelled lesson for you but this is not guaranteed.

Sickness

If you are not fit to drive due to illness, please let us know at the earliest opportunity as we will need to follow the cancellation policy in these instances.

If you are recovering from an illness but are fit to drive you could be required to wear a disposable face mask provided by the instructor. The lesson could also need to conclude 5 minutes early to allow us time to disinfect the vehicle before the next lesson.

These measures are in place to help prevent the spread of illness whilst also preventing any unnecessary interruption to your regular lessons.

Intensive Driving Week / Test Prep

Due to the time commitment for our instructors, once these lessons have been scheduled we are unable to offer rescheduling or provide any refunds due to cancellations.
